Aamir Khan's latest release and the multi starrer, 'Thugs of Hindostan' failed at the box office as well as at the mind of the audience. When asked to comment on the film's poor performance at the box office he said, "I want to apologize to people who came to watch the film because we were not able to entertain them. We tried our best but for our audience who came to the theater with expectations did not have fun. I am feeling very bad that we were not able to entertain them."
The 'Dangal' star was asked if he had any idea prior how the film will perform and what went wrong, he confessed, "I would rather not talk about it in public. Every film I work on is very close to me. Its like my baby and its failure is mine also."
Aamir's 'Pehla Nasha' co-star Shah Rukh after the release of 'Thugs of Hindostan' went on to say the audience was too hard to criticize the film.
